Glacier Mountaineer Lodge, Golden

Our stay at Kicking Horse Lodging was nothing short of amazing! The mountain view was breathtaking, and it felt like we were in a cozy retreat. The amenities weren't fully operational since we visited early in the season, but we made the most of it and had everything we needed in our suite. The only downside was some of the facilities weren't available yet. Overall, an incredible experience that we can't wait to repeat!

My stay at the resort was quite enjoyable overall. The rooms were spacious and clean, though they could use some modern updates. The location was perfect for skiing right in and out, making it a true delight for snow enthusiasts. I did find the noise from the snow grooming machines early in the morning a bit disruptive. Additionally, while the facilities were plentiful, some areas, like the outdoor tub, looked a bit neglected.

The hotel has some excellent features, especially for winter sports enthusiasts, with ski-in/ski-out options and boot dryers. However, I encountered cleanliness issues in the rooms and common areas. The dining options weren't very close, and while there was a nice view, the noise from snow-clearing vehicles at night was disruptive. Overall, it's a convenient choice for skiing but not without its downsides.

I had an amazing stay at the lodge, nestled high in the mountains. The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, and the cleanliness of the space was impressive. While the staff was accommodating, the parking situation was a bit tricky since I was on the fourth floor. Overall, a fantastic value for a restful ski getaway with the amenities I needed.

While the hotel has clean rooms and a lovely restaurant, the lack of air conditioning during the summer heat dramatically affected our stay. The staff was nice and the location was decent for skiing, but the overall value felt lacking given the discomfort experienced.
